Perfume names are trademarks which can only be registered (in the US) once the goods have been produced and are being distributed. Unfortunately, Estee Lauder is dead and her son running the company. But they don't make perfume, they only sell it. For lists of people who actually make perfume, try the Perfume Maker's Club.

: : Hello, out there. I just wanted to know how to register my perfume business. Do we register the company names by itself or list the pefume product names under it also or separately. And does anybody have any information on the most likely fragrance companies that will be good at what they do and be able to make pefume for us to sell. And all I know is to start small, and I will, but is there any chance that we could talk with someone like Estee Lauder or whoever and get them interested in our products to sell under there company. Thanks for all of the info coming!
